Our client is a Logistics Service Provider in Dublin North who provides a range of Logistics, Transport & Installation services to there clients is now looking for a Logistics/Warehouse Supervisor. Job title: Logistics/Warehouse Supervisor. Reports to: Logistics/Warehouse Manager. Number of direct reports and job title. Two (2) Warehouse Operatives. Role (Overall Job Purpose): To plan, coordinate and fulfil, all daily activities within the warehouse in accordance with our established procedures and customer requirements. Ensure that an efficient, safe and secure environment is achieved and maintained in the warehouse. Key Relationships: Internal. Logistics/Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Operatives, Drivers, External. Customers, All regular visitors to site, Responsibilities and Key Tasks. Adherence to the company’s H&S arrangements and proactively contributing to the maintenance of a safe working environment. Understanding customer requirements and ensuring delivery of a first class customer service. Assisting the Logistics/Warehouse manager in the overall running of the department and deputising for him in his absence. Taking on direct responsibility and ownership of the warehouse and yard, and all activity within. Contributing to, and maintaining a Daily/Weekly/Monthly ‘Task List’ for you and your team. Typical Tasks would include: - Planning daily activity. - Loading & Unloading Vehicles. - Receiving, unpacking & locating the product within the warehouse. - Cycle Counting. - Order picking, packing & Dispatch. - Other Value Added activity. - Housekeeping. Operating the companies Warehouse Management System (PC & Hand Held Scanner. Operating various MHE (Pallet Trucks, Forklift Trucks, etc.) Joining the warehouse ‘on-call’ roster. Provide Holiday/Absence cover when required. Other Tasks as required. Qualifications required. Essential. Second Level Education (Leaving Cert. Driving Licence (B. Forklift (counterbalance. Desirable. Forklift (Pivot Steer. Experience required. Essential. Two years in a similar role (Supervisory in Logistics/Warehouse environment. Personal Competencies (skills, knowledge, ability. Essential. Strong Leader. Team worker. Computer Literate. Technically Competent. Responsible. Motivated. Desirable. Commercially Aware, Good Written Communication Skills, Key Outputs / Performance Measures. 0% Accidents. 0% Non-conformities (Quality, Environmental / Safety. 0% Loss or damage to Customer or Company product, property or equipment. 100% Stock Accuracy. 100% completion of daily tasks.
