Global Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) Senior Professional. On behalf of our client, a global pharmaceutical company, we are currently recruiting for a Global Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) Senior Professional. This is a permanent role in the Global Manufacturing, Science & Technology department (MSAT) for a Senior Professional. The successful candidate will report to the MSAT Manager. The Position. The MSAT Senior Professional role involves process support including optimisation, improvement and trouble-shooting of existing commercial products. Key duties will include: the design and co-ordination of process development, trouble-shooting & qualification studies for existing products. the design and performance of laboratory-scale and pilot-scale trials. scale-up/down of existing commercial production processes. review of documentation relating to production processes, including the manufacturing section of registration documentation and new/updated Lot Processing Records/Master Batch Records. provision of technical support to manufacturing functions. Leading and driving to conclusion, through the use of LEAN tools, major investigations into product/process related deviations. The Person will have: Minimum. honours degree in pharmacy, chemistry or related discipline. experience in product/process development or related post-graduate research. excellent teamwork skills as well as being capable of working on his/her own initiative. Preferred. PhD in a pharmacy related discipline or chemistry. 3+ years of experience in a process support role in a cGMP environment with a proven track record.
