Analytical Chemist - Wicklow. In this role you will be responsible for the development and validation of chromatographic and other test methods as appropriate in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Essential and key accountabilities. • Developing and Validating test methods for APIs/Advanced Intermediates etc. • Preparing analytical method development reports. • Preparing analytical method validation protocols and reports. • Writing and reviewing SOPs. • Liaising with third parties on equipment or analytical test issues/requirements. • Troubleshooting analytical issues. • Assisting with route cause analysis (RCA. • Responding quickly and positively to internal and external customers. • Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team. • Participating positively in team activities. • Maintaining complete and accurate records. • Undertaking and completing other duties as required. Basic Requirements. Education. Essential: Third Level Qualification – Science / Chemistry (analytical) discipline or equivalent. Desirable: Experience in a wide range of analytical techniques, particularly HPLC and GC. Experience. Circa 3-5 years’ experience in a method development/validation role in an FDA/HPRA regulated environment preferred. Skills/Knowledge. Critical: • Experience of development and validation in the Pharma Industry. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Attention to detail and good organizational skills. • Mature judgment, problem solving and decision-making ability. • Ability to operate in a team based environment. • Skilled in the use of computers.
