Training Leader

CPL HR are delighted to be recruiting for a training lead for an American medical device client based in South Dublin to join their team for a 12 month contract. This role will be responsible for the training function which involves the management, co-ordination, documentation of associate training and development. A large emphasis is placed on ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements and development of employee skills to comply with industry standards. Responsibilities’ will include but not limited to: Lead training to ensure it is effective and recorded to meet legislative and company requirements. Coordinate and report on training for a sister plant. Identify and prepare annual training and development plans. Manage and develop the C2C Learning Management System to optimise the recording, assigning and tracking of training and to ensure compliance with all requirements. Collaborate with HR to develop and deliver a leadership development and skills training programme for the site. Support the site continuous improvement program through leading and facilitating events and promoting employee engagement with CI. Work with Subject Matter Experts in developing training materials and methods for new and changed processes. Supporting the execution of special projects as needed, such as the organization of department-wide trainings/events. Requirements: Third Level Qualification HR/Quality/Production Engineering. At least 2 years’ experience in a regulated, compliance controlled environment. Previous experience of working in an ISO and an FDA regulated environment. Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment. Experience using E-learning software – i.e. Captivate. Excellent PC skills ideally with good working knowledge of MS Office, Photoshop, Learning Mgt Systems & SAP.
