The Company: Blow Salons, Ireland’s first ‘blow dry bar’,established in 2003, is happy to announce further growth in the group. We are now a full-service hair and beauty salon offering a wide range of services. We opened our 4th salon in 2018 in Dunnes Stores in Henry Street and have more planned for this year. We are currently looking to fill some new roles within the group. Blow has been providing all hair, nail and beauty services to Ireland’s top businesswomen and Dublin 4 locals for the last 15 years and are very happy to have added a Northside Salon to our stable. Blow is a very fast-paced busy salon with a strong ‘can do’ attitude. We love to delight our customers by our speed and efficiency. We use brands like Wella, Nioxin, Lycon, Vita Liberata, Goldwell, Seavite, Mink Lashes, Kiko, Mac and various other Make up brands. The Role: We are looking for a passionate and driven Front of House person who has a deep understanding of a competitive and creative retail and service environment. If you are the type of person who loves fast paced environments, motivating and leading your team and strive for the best results, this could be the job for you. The Responsibilities. 1) Maximise and drive all areas of retail sales and challenge yourself and the team to approach service and retail sales with a strong energy. 2) Drive Sales across all service types- hair, beauty and nails. 3) Understand the market by monitoring the local area and competitors to maintain competitors’ advantage by planning and implementing new service offerings in a timely manner – for example, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Valentines etc etc. 4) Meeting and greeting each client, on arrival at the salon and on the phone, in a friendly and professional manner. 5) Coordinating bookings to ensure the salon is running on schedule, with minimum customer delay. 6) Manage large volumes of bookings via phone and online. 7) Have a totally positive attitude at all times towards customers and staff. 8) Manage breaks for the team. 9) Manage stock levels of all products. 10) Be responsible for the cleanliness of the salon. 11) Managing the cash and cash up. The Successful Candidate will: · Have at least three years’ experience in a similar role in a retail/salon or restaurant environment. · Be committed to making clients happy and always deliver a wonderful service. · Be passionate about hair and beauty. · Have a warm, friendly manner and professional demeanour. · Have strong PC and social media skills. · Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. · Be ambitious and competitive with a keen interest in retail and salon service sales. · Be obliging, flexible, a self-motivator and interested in working in a busy, fast paced environment. · Love being organised, be able to multi-task efficiently and enjoy working under pressure. · Be beautifully presented. · Maintain strong attention to detail to effectively manage high volumes of email and telephone inquiries and bookings.
