(contract position for maternity leave cover. a vacancy has arisen for a customer services representative to work with the customer services team in centre park road in cork to provide a comprehensive customer service experience and support to the company’s customers by providing information on the company’s products,processing orders, and resolving any product or service issue which may arise, while projecting a professional company image. this is a monday to friday position. the role will involve: answering telephones and responding to customer requests. contacting customers regarding product promotions and promoting sales. receiving, reviewing and inputting orders onto our hansa system, ensuring accuracy of product codes, quantities, prices etc. distributing orders to relevant internal departments for production / dispatch. keeping customers informed on delivery, order status, pricing, product availability etc. and reconciling any discrepancies or disputes regarding their orders. respond to and coordinate requests for product samples, information material and any other customer requests. resolve product or service issues which may arise by clarifying the customer’s complaint, where possible determining the cause of the problem, finding the best solution for the problem. assessing invoice queries relating to pricing, discounts and quantities received. related administrative duties. contribute to team efforts to achieve related results. other ad hoc duties as they arise. the successful candidate will have: previous front line customer services experience, skills and attitude, including excellent telephone manner and techniques. excellent computer literacy. excellent organisational skills. fluency in the english language. confidence, enthusiasm and a“can do” attitude. related experience within a manufacturing environment with similar product range would be an advantage. we invite applications to be made in writing to treasa minihane, hr manager by email to treasa.minihane@freefoam.ie or by post to treasa minihane, hr manager, freefoam plastics ltd.,central commercial park, centre park road, cork. applicants must be eligible to live and work in the eu. we do not need the assistance of third party recruiters at this stage. this job originally appeared on recruitireland.com.
