Quantity Surveyor. Having met with this company last week they really come across as a great organisation to work for with a very friendly atmosphere and down to earth team environment. A Cork based mechanical engineering contractor who have been in operation for the last 40 years and who work with some huge blue chip pharma companies my client currently undergoing a serious growth phase and are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor due to their growing portfolio of projects. For this exciting Quantity Surveyor role job I am recruiting for a QS with 4 years' experience in an estimating/ quantity surveying position. Our client is offering an excellent package, what is most important to them is finding the right candidate, so salary is truly negotiable. Key Duties: Some of the key elements of this exciting Quantity Surveyor role would include: * Tender documentation, cost management, contractor performance assessment procurement. * Manage Sub-Contract orders from award to final account & commercial management of all projects, to ensure accurate and reliable reporting. * Identify, Analyse and report on trends within the Business & Projects & provide input to relevant customer/client commercial meetings while also ensuring compliance with Contract Programme /Schedule & providing weekly reports to construction team on planned versus actual progress. What you'll need! Diploma or degree qualified with 5 years' relevant experience in an estimating/ quantity surveying position. Previous experience in extracting bills of quantities from piping general arrangements and process drawings would be an advantage but is not a pre-requite for the QS role. Apply today!
