We are looking for energetic and ambitious professionals who have managerial experience in Fashion Retail. Our Client are British clothing business who have an exciting team that strives to deliver the best in the market. The role of Assistant Manager is to support the Store Manager in all aspects of running the store and to work as a team to increase sales and profitability. The candidate must be a very commercial and operational manager with a love for providing excellent customer service and exceptional people management skills. Responsibilities: Influence and control all store KPIs, budgets, wage costs and expenses. Take appropriate action to improve sales performance of store & individual. Be accountable and responsible for administration policies and procedures e.g. cash handling, stocktake, security. Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times. Support the coaching and development of the team to approach customers and convert the sale. Support the training and development of staff in selling techniques and general duties i.e. cash handling, customer service, house keeping. Ensure positive and constructive feedback is given to the team to drive improved performance. The ideal candidate will be/have: Sales and customer focused with keen understanding of what great retail standards look like. Strong KPI Management experience. Experience in leading and coaching. Experience in managing a team of 5+ Act and operate on their own initiative to deputise for line manager. Effective communication, time management, planning and organisational skills.
