The successful applicant will be a valued member of a multi-disciplinary team providing a range of services to both children and adults with intellectual disabilities, based in the west of Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate keen to kick start their career in a supportive environment where CPD is paramount, using your skills to help vulnerable members of the community. Key Responsibilities: To undertake assessment, therapy, appropriate interventions and preventative programmes in accordance with the professional competence of clinical psychologists. To provide professional reports and information to other professional staff and such other reports as appropriate. To give, as appropriate, lectures and training to other health staff and families. To undertake research in clinical psychology and to co-operate in research and evaluation programmes as appropriate. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team effectively. Engage in Continued Professional Development. Requirements: An Honours Degree in Psychology. A recognised Post Graduate qualification in Psychology. Relevant experience of working with people with intellectual disabilities. Current membership of the Psychological Society of Ireland. Ideally some experience or interest in working in ID sector.
