I am delighted to be assisting this well-known highly respected manufacturing company in Shannon find a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team. It is a fabulous place to work. Every Engineer who has gone there through me I have assisted them through the process. They have a highly attractive package including pension and health insurance. The Engineer will support in the delivery of competitive proposals. They will do this by meeting with the internal engineering teams to understand the customer needs and translating these needs into accurate quotations. You will be involved in proposal development, working closely with other departments and reviewing project progress against schedules. Responsibilites: Develop proposals and costings for customer projects. Evaluate customer requirements through review of URS/EDS documents or other request for quote documents. Assist with the development of concepts for new proposals. Aid the engineering teams in the development of concepts generated from customer. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure quotes and proposals meet customer requirements. Write the detailed description of the equipment being proposed. Attend design reviews, customer meetings etc. Requirements: 1-2 year's in a technical sales role, mechanical design role or electrical design role. Ability to interpret URS/customer requirements documents. Experience with Autodesk Inventor/Solidworks - desirable. Previous Customer Exposure - desirable.
