This Is the leading sports surgery clinic in Ireland with plans for further expansion. The hospital is a 64 in-patient bed hospital with 21 day case beds. It is the leading orthopaedic hospital in the country and is currently planning further expansion. There are 5 theatre suites with all elective surgeries. There is also a sports rehab centre on site. The DON will have responsibility for 135 FTE staff nurses and a smaller number of ancillary staff. The role will require the successful applicant to work as a member of the Hospital Executive Team, playing an active role in the current expansion of this dynamic clinic on both a corporate and clinical level. Interested Applicants must : - Be registered, or be eligible for registration, in the General Nurse Division of the NMBI Have 10 years post registration nursing experience and 5 years nursing management experience. Have relevant postgraduate AND/OR management training relevant to the post.
