Tax Free Airside Technical Training Manager. Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Total Compensation: €150k. Main Accountabilities: The Airside Technical Training Officer will develop and deliver applicable training material, content and documentation within the scope of the Operational functions that support all of the Airside Operations Unit. Also, will work closely with internal and external business partners to ensure that all regulatory and mandatory training and learning needs are adequately delivered. This position will report directly to the Aerodrome Operations Director. The successful candidate will have the ability to design, develop and deliver training and drive forward the relevant departmental objectives and policies. The right candidate will also possess strong business aptitude and ability to lead and work closely with colleagues from cross levels and units. Responsibilities: Ensure regulatory, mandatory and developmental requirements are delivered effectively. Support and Coach a Team of aerodrome operations duty managers, supervisors and officers. Focus on maintaining proper training / learning records for all staff. Oversee the technical training programs and ensure the workforce’s competency level remains high. Develop and manage appropriate policies, processes and procedures specific to the scope of training. Effectively collaborate with business partners within the organization, including senior leadership. Confirm that the most accurate and industry related material is available for the staff training requirements. Responsible for driving continuous improvements within a learning & training scope. Continuously evaluate and if essential implement appropriate changes to the training programs. Support the Airside Operations Management and provide direction regarding regulatory compliance and strategy. Ability to adapt and be effective in a fast-paced and changing environment. Manage and maintain any budgetary activities associated to the training team. Qualifications: Preferably to have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree. Ideally with a long term of successful employment history within Airport Operations. Minimum of 10 years’ service in Airside Operations. 3 years of job related Training experience. Strong leadership abilities. Strong communication skills. Knowledge about ICAO / EASA documentation and all Standard & Recommended Practices (SARPs. A level of understanding associated with airport operations and processes within the Middle East region. Very good knowledge of key Airside Operations including Wildlife Management, Aerodrome Safeguarding, Certification and Aircraft Performance.
