Metamo are currently recruiting for a Head of Lending Solutions to join their team on a permanent basis. Location is flexible, but requires time in Killorglin, Co.Kerry. Company Profile. Metamo is a newly established shared services company comprising MetaCU (a collaboration between some of Ireland`s largest Credit Unions) and a commercial partner, Fexco, in a Joint Venture. Credit Unions play a crucial role in financially enabling Irish communities and Metamo has been established to develop product and service solutions to support them. Metamo will focus on 3 key areas: Product and technology development: innovating in partnership with member credit unions. Collective bargaining power: More effective relationships with existing and new business partners. Expertise: providing access to professional expertise and services. Job Purpose. Lead development of a lending product and process framework for Irish Credit unions that meets current / future product and service needs of credit unions and their members. Identify Optimal solutions, establish agreed commercial business case and execute delivery plan. Main Responsibilities. Develop a shared lending roadmap for Irish credit unions and manage delivery plan with commercial objectives. Build a small but skilled team that can support the accomplishment of the vision. Create an efficient, insightful overview of current credit lending processes, products and infrastructure employed by credit unions and develop options on how to progress. Develop standardized lending processes for all participating credit unions that incorporate industry best practice and deliver enhanced credit performance and member experience. Build a strategic plan to migrate participating credit unions from an average LTA of 27% to a sustainable medium term LTA of c.60% Work with the broader Metamo leadership team to build a commercial business case for development, incorporating the delivery of key product and services. Engage the credit union lending leaders to agree a shared vision of success and path for implementation. Manage stakeholders / key vendors to ensure optimal solutions for credit unions and support for current relationships during transition. Qualifications/Experience Required: Lending Product and Process management. Banking/Lending experience or exposure – key areas of Personal, Mortgage and SME lending. Comfortable with core component of strategic product management – Business planning, process development, risk and compliance. Comfortable with a corporate start-up scenario and the personal risk associated with an ambitious project. Able to mesh lending product considerations with business priorities and budget constraints as part of the Metamo executive team. Competencies Required: Proven Leader of lending delivery teams. Technically skilled in assessing strategic Lending infrastructure (including IT. Proficient in building lending roadmaps to support business delivery objectives. Experienced in managing lending systems for financial products and services, including service quality and compliance with regulation.
