Fabrication Manager. The Fabrication Manager would be responsible to plan, coordinate and control production within the fabrication department. Ensuring the efficient production of product in a safe compliant manner. This position would be based on the floor and would be a hands-on role. Responsibilities: Planning and organising of Production Schedules. Assess and identify Resource Requirements. Liaise with key stakeholders. Develop and Agree on Production Targets for product lines. Oversee day to day production activities. Create Recovery Plans. Identify opportunities and devise strategies to reduce Production Costs, increase Production Efficiencies. Lean Champion for Metal Shop and Weld Cells. Health & Safety Lead for Metal Shop and Weld Cells, ensuring that H&S guidelines and regulations are met. Enforce safety rules on their team members to avoid injuries in cases of accidents and production hazards. Work with management to implement the company's policies and goals. Monitor and enforce company policy regarding attendance and timekeeping. Requirements: 5 years experience in manufacturing operations, metal fabrication or similar environment. 2-3 years experience in management/supervisory capacity. Excellent planning skills. Organised, dependable and excellent time management. Excellent people skills and ability to implement performance measures to ensure production standards are met. Adaptable problem solver. Excellent knowledge of policies and procedures. Motivated leader able to work with teams. Proficient in IT including Microsoft Office.
