Tax Appeal Commissioners decide on matters that are in dispute between taxpayers and the Office of the Revenue Commissioners involving a range of taxes and duties. These roles represent an exceptional opportunity for high-calibre individuals with significant taxation experience. A panel will be formed from this process from which a number of temporary vacancies may be filled for a minimum of two years. The ideal candidates will have: • Significant senior level experience in the field of taxation in either the public or private sector; • The ability to analyse and evaluate large amounts of complex legal and technical information; • Excellent judgment and objective decision making skills; • Recognition, either publicly or within their own professional area, as an individual of proven integrity and independence.  .
