An eLearning Development Specialist is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Limerick based client. This is an initial 6 month contract with a view to a longer term position. THE ROLE: * You will work with the training team to drive continuous improvement in all training processes and delivery methodologies. * Develop and write innovative and interactive learning content to meet functional learning objectives in eLearning environments. * Manage end-to-end production of new and updated eLEarning courses within the Learning Curriculum including: needs analysis, project planning, coordination, Instructional Design, writing, editing, mulitimedia development, quality assurance, usability testing, delivery and evaluation. * Provide expert guidance for training specialists on the production of multimedia rich and diverse performance supports in all training programs. * Work with external eLearning design partners and escalate quality issues as required. * Work with external website hosting providers in relation to the specification, development and release of online interactive facilities and resources for health professionals. * Conducting needs assessment and training analysis. * Creating learning environments for specific target audiences. * Integrating instructional design theories and practices to the current LMS. * Have up to date knowledge of current trends/best practice in the eLearning sector. * Suggest and implement modified, new and innovative solutions for the delivery of online facilities, training and support. REQUIREMENTS: * A Qualification in Technical Communications and Instructional Design at degree level or equivalent qualification. * 2-3 years experience in a similar role preferably in a healthcare setting.
