My client, who is well-established in the Travel Industry are currently looking for an experienced Travel Consultant to join their sales team. Key responsiblities of this role: Follow reservation and commercial procedures for setting up customer files. Negotiate rates and services with suppliers. Book and troubleshoot flight issues, hotel bookings and transfer arrangements. Ensure customer related issues or queries are handled in a timely manner. Follow all administrative and compliance procedures in relation to our customer files and data base. The successful candidate: At least 1 year experience a Travel Consultant position. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to develop valuable and long-lasting relationships with customers. Product knowledge and a passion for travel. Solution based mind-set with the ability to provide consultative advice and potentially up-sell where appropriate. Ability to pick up IT systems easily.
