A Clean Utilities Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Limerick based client. THE ROLE: * Plans, conducts and directs clean/critical utilities engineering projects or studies including complete projects requiring advanced knowledge of a specialized field. * Applies comprehensive and diverse knowledge of engineering principles and practices within broad assignment areas. * Responsible for all mechanical utility systems, projects, validation and on site coordination of activities and contractors in a regulated environment. * Management of the maintenance system and procedures and associated improvement projects. * Provides technical engineering support to Water room and Facility technicians. * Work with team leader to develop and implement strategic facilities engineering Goals & Objectives. * Support the implementation of all facilities engineering and plant strategic initiatives. * Demonstrate strong leadership and a clear identifiable work ethos within the team. * Project Management - provide timely and accurate reporting on project activities. * Actively participate in cross-functional teams to provide facilities support on New Product Introduction/Research and Development projects. REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum of degree qualification in relevant engineering discipline. * 4/5 years experience in a similar role. * Ability to work on own initiative. * Be able to demonstrate good project management and communication skills. * Strong analytical approach to problem solving and brings innovative solutions to equipment/issues. * Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to make effective decisions.
