As Project/Programme Officer or Adviser , your tasks may include: • General Programme Management: grant cycle management and call for tenders management. • Preparation of technical specifications for call for tenders. • Evaluation, monitoring and promotion of calls for proposals. • Evaluation, monitoring and negotiation of projects. • Financial evaluation of projects and programs. • Preparation of reports and statistics. • Project/programme management support. * Employment Type : Temporary Contract Posts: http://europa.eu/epso/apply/how_apply/temporary/index_en.htm. Duration of Temporary Contract(s ): *EU rules generally stipulate between 1 and 4 years. There MAY, sometimes, be a possibility of one extension of a maximum of two years. Grade/Function Group and Salary Level: AST III and AST IV (Assistant level posts. Salary/Remuneration Package : The basic monthly salary for these profiles is €2,457.08 (Function Group III ) / €3,145.45 (Function Group IV ) (indicative starting salary for a 40-hour working week). As well as providing support and assistance to new staff for relocation, the EU institutions also offer a comprehensive remuneration package, including pension and health insurance. Pay and conditions and taxes for EU officials are generally similar to that of permanent staff.
