Regional Sales Manager – Construction / Building Sales. Field-Based (covering North-West Ireland. €Excellent DOE. Within Ireland, they also operate a strong DIY retailing organisation with stores nationwide and a kitchen business operating under a number of brands. They are now looking for a Regional Sales Manager to support the operations in the North-West. This is an outstanding opportunity for a high caliber sales professional from a construction or B2B background to take on a fresh challenge with one of Ireland’s largest construction materials retail operations. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be tasked with overseeing sales operations across the North-West. You will take responsibility for the development and support of the Regional Branch external Sales Team and ensure that they achieve their targets through effective relationship and business development. With the end result of delivering product sales in-line with company strategies and targets, you will focus heavily on Sales management, providing sales processes across the region and oversight to the team. This will include giving direction, planning, controlling and monitoring sales personnel and larger building materials customers. Interested? To be considered, you will need: - At least six years’ experience within the sales organisation of a construction related company or in a B2B capacity. - Sales management and/or KAM experience and a track record of using a CRM system. - Good knowledge of the construction process. - The ability to implement an efficient and effective sales process. Dedicated, driven and target-oriented, as a Regional Sales Manager, you will need exceptional communication, leadership and interpersonal skills alongside the ability to forge strong working relationships. Higher level of academic education (ideally in Business or Marketing) would be beneficial to your application, or a qualification in a construction related discipline.
