Administrator (Maternity Cover)

We are currently seeking to recruit an Administrator to cover maternity leave for our nursing home based in Oughterard, Co. Galway. Main Duties: The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable duties and carrying out other ad hoc tasks. Provide backup support to the front office/reception; answer calls; greet visitors/guests professionally; schedule appointments and provide a PA service to the nursing home’s Director of Nursing. To work with the management team, colleagues and residents to ensure the smooth running of the nursing home. Skills Requirements: Ability to deal with people in a friendly and efficient manner and maintain a professional image at all times. Must be enthusiastic, flexible, courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of service. Ability to work in a busy environment which requires a professional attitude, excellent oral and written English and time management skills. Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team working to strict deadlines with attention to detail essential. Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and Outlook. Experience in Sage Accounts package desirable and must have at least 2 years’ experience in an office environment.
