Filing Clerk ( Contract, 6 months. Location: Dublin 6. Salary: €25-28K. Our client, a professional office located in Dublin 6 but within walking distance from the canal, is seeking to hire a Filing Clerk on a contract basis. The role will involve being responsibility for the delivery of files and post to relevant departments internally as well as undertaking occasional external deliveries. The role suits a highly energetic individual as there is a lot of running up/down stairs delivering files following requests from internal departments. In addition, you should have the ability to working in a busy, fast pacied environment whilst also maintaining a high attention to detail. Key Duties: Locating, filing and retrieving of files. Continuously liaising with Department Managers regarding the collection and delivery of files. Sorting, opening and distributing all correspondence in accordance with agreed procedures. Audit file locations on a weekly basis, ensuring files are correctly entered onto the internal tracking system. Use of a hand-held scanner to track files, arriving/leaving the office. Scan and index documentation, as required. Review, send and scan emails. Prepare and delivery of post. Collect and frank daily outgoing post. Reception support, as necessary.
