Cpl is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join a leading Irish company in financial services based in Dublin. Responsibilities: Provide superior customer service, provide support in tendering, RFP process, negotiations, contracting and vendor management. Develop procurement strategies with internal stakeholders. Work with the business through the supplier selection process ensuring that suppliers have the capability to meet the client needs for high service standards, efficient executions and competitive rates. Manage the commercial negotiations of contracts with third parties, cost savings and value focused. Conducting Contract Reviews and supplier landscape initiatives to ensure the company has oversight of third party relationship. Working with and leverage off legal resources for contracting and to ensure skills development and learning is continuous. Ensure regular review and maintenance on all procurement and SRM related objectives to business units. Working with colleagues senior management to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness, supporting the management team to develop and implement efficiency and productivity metrics for core work processes. Contribute to the development of best-in-class procurement and third party management methodology and associated tools to support the delivery of initiatives. Managing and issuing communications, guidelines, maintaining internal webpage etc. Determining and implementing operational standard and SLAs etc. Run internal projects of work including audits, technology development, policy and procedure updates etc. Monitor and report progress to ensure all initiatives deliver benefits and meet/exceed business case expectations. Assist with project governance, infrastructure and stakeholder management to optimise the delivery of Procurement’s Operational Excellence and Group Finance objectives. Requirements: 3rd Level Degree desirable or equivalent professional certification - A qualification in Procurement, Legal, Risk Management or Project Management is not essential but desirable. 3+ years’ experience in Procurement, Legal, Project Management, Business Analysts, or Operations Team Leader or Procurement Subject Matter Expert. Experience in support and administration processes, tendering and contracting, negotiations and working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
