JOB TITLE: Design & Project Engineers. REF NO: J4532. REPORT TO: Principal Engineer, Highways and Transportation. LOCATION: Galway. JOB TYPE: Permanent. We are currently recruiting Design and Project Engineers to work as key members of our Highways & Transportation Team. The positions will be based in our Galway office. The candidates will have: A degree in Civil Engineering as a minimum; a masters qualification is advantageous. A minimum of 2-5 years’ relevant experience in road design and/or transport planning. Proficiency in IT and be competent using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MX, etc. Knowledge and experience of data analysis within a transport context The role involves inter alia : working as part of multi-disciplinary project teams involved in the design, procurement and contract supervision of highway, transport and infrastructural projects. working on projects in a collaborative Level 2 BIM environment. compliancy with RPS systems. ensuring an understanding of project management objectives. engaging with clients and design teams for project delivery. occasional short-term travel in Ireland and the UK. Essential abilities: the ability to lead and motivate themselves, take ownership of issues and seek team participation to achieve best solution. a willingness to learn and develop. excellent verbal and written communication skills.
