Customer Service / Trainee Financial Advisor (Entry Level. Kilkenny, Co. Kilkenny. €21,000 - €23,000 DOE Plus 23 Days’ Holiday + Christmas Shutdown. Our client is a financial services company with close ties to one of Ireland’s largest building societies. Having been in operation for over 18 years, they specialise in home loans and mortgages, saving and investments, home insurance and life assurance. As a growing firm, they are now seeking a Customer Service / Trainee Financial Advisor to join their team in Kilkenny. As a Customer Service / Trainee Financial Advisor, you will be tasked with delivering a range of activities to support good customer relations, strong financial practices and a healthy business. Specifically, you will provide excellent levels of customer service, develop an understanding of their needs and relay accurate information that enables them to make informed decisions about their finances. You’ll handle cash on a daily basis, maintain customers’ privacy, report on your daily activities and work on a range of projects individually or as part of a team as required. A major part of this role will be learning how to become a qualified financial advisor and achieving professional qualifications in relevant subjects. You’ll be required to undertake further study to achieve your QFA/APA exams and will be supported during these training periods. Interested? If so, you will need: - Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. - A Leaving Certificate or equivalent. Attentive to detail, eager to learn and communicative, as a Customer Service / Trainee Financial Advisor, you’ll need to be a team player with the drive to do more and get involved. A hands-on approach will be vital. Although not a necessity, QFA exams would be beneficial to your application. A business qualification would also be an advantage.
