IT Support Administrator






An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced IT Support Administrator to join a multinational manufacturing and technology company on an initial 12 month fixed term contract. What you will do: Provide support to a wide range of applications, systems and infrastructure within the company. User Support. Analysing problems, including root cause analysis. Communication with other system support teams. Defining possible solutions/rectification. Effective and timely communication with all involved parties. Monitoring of helpdesk queues, triage and resolution of issues. Escalation of calls to system support teams or external providers as necessary. Active Directory User Management. Account Management. User on boarding/off boarding. What you need to do the job: Use/management of an ITIL based helpdesk. Extensive experience supporting Windows 7 / 10 desktops and laptops. Experience supporting Office 365 with strong MS Outlook skills. Effective and timely communication with all involved parties. Outstanding ability to triage time-sensitive tasks, accomplishing work according to time frames set. Strong customer service, work ethic and troubleshooting ability, with the ability to prioritise tasks and coordinate workload with other members of the team along with the ability to work on multiple efforts concurrently. Desirable experience: Networking fundamentals – network basics and cabling. IP Phone system exposure. Windows host networking and local and network based user and group accounts and permissions.
