FRS is currently recruiting an exceptionally motivated experienced Nephrology Registrar for a leading hospital in the Ulster region of Ireland. The successful candidate will work as an important part of the multi-disciplinary team providing unparalleled patient care in a well-run medical centre with modern, advanced facilities. The role of a Nephrology Registrar carries a significant amount of responsibility as they are a vital member of the Nephrology Department. As the specialist individual, whose duty it is to ensure patients receive the best possible care, it is a challenging but rewarding post. The work of a consultant goes beyond caring directly for patients, they are often leaders of the multidisciplinary team and are heavily involved in the training and development of junior doctors and students. Taking on this position enables a highly motivated experienced medical professional to develop new skills and to apply their extensive knowledge in a challenging but worthwhile and exciting environment. Essential Requirements. Irish Medical Council registration or in the process of registration. Relevant qualifications. 5 years post-internship experience. Previous experience in Nephrology. IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 7.0. Irish or UK experience desirable.
