QC Analyst Job. Location: Waterford. Commutable from Counties Cork and Tipperary. Full-time/ Permanent. Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company in Waterford County is currently recruiting for a QC Analyst Chemistry job based in County Waterford. The primary purpose of this of this job is to perform analysis of pharmaceutical raw materials, drug substance, and finished product and produce accurate results within an acceptable timeframe. Responsibilities: * Provide analytical testing across a range of traditional analytical techniques as well as modern instrumental equipment (HPLC, GC & Karl Fischer, IR and UV spectroscopy. * Provide analytical support in troubleshooting. * Demonstrate problem solving in delivering process and analytical understanding. * Good understanding of requirements for working in a GMP environment. * To review analytical data for GMP compliance. Requirements: * Knowledge/Experience of Analytical Chemistry is essential. * 1-2 years' experience of pharmaceutical analysis within a GMP environment. * Experience with traditional analytical techniques as well as modern instrumental equipment i.e. HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, IR and UV spectroscopy. * Must possess good knowledge of analysis methods and tools. * Good understanding of basic chromatographic techniques. * Experience working on method development and validations.
