Fexco are currently recruiting for an Insights and Community Manager to join their team on a permanent basis located in Killorglin, Co.Kerry. Job Purpose: The successful implementation of the insights function within Fexco requires the creation and development of a macro and micro view of trends and data across multiple industries to extrapolate insights that can aid the organisation in its future development. The role will also facilitate a community of contributors and recipients of the insights. This is a new function that needs to be established and therefore requires a significant level of autonomy and ability to deal with ambiguity. The approach to establish the function will favour experimentation and regular reviews of progress to date and level of impact. Main Responsibilities: The successful candidate will: Own and facilitate the Innovation Change Leaders community through digital and physical channels. Help Fexco teams to identify and access the information, expertise and resources they require. Provide training and coaching on insights tools and framework to the Fexco community. Own the design, development and management of the Insights mobile application, encourage contributions and facilitate amalgamation of inputs into meaningful and relevant content. Capture and disseminate key insights / knowledge internally using audience appropriate channels (digital, video, physical. Develop a suite of digital tools and guidelines that encourage the teams to work in data based insight as against best judgement. Establish and maintain a repository (Evernote or alternative) where all relevant data is stored and indexed. Own the market insight app and encourage its use among the Fexco community, capture inputs and feedbacks. Develop a set a set of tools to support teams in identifying their target market (TAM, SAM, ideal customers, profiles, pain and gains etc.) Macro insight. Facilitate a greater shared understanding of the macro trends that impact the Fexco range of products and services. Documentation of the trends, economies, island of opportunities in a format that is easily accessible and digestible by the Fexco community. Monitor development of these trends by regularly issuing ‘white paper’ type of updates. Provide business lines support via the marketing team partners on trends analysis to support a thought leadership position. Micro insight. Collaborate with the Strategic Business Development and Innovation Change Leaders teams in facilitating specific market insights activities for innovation, early stage and growth initiative. Identification and documentation of the target users’ profiles (personas), specific market dynamics and trends relevant to the areas being worked on. Develop approaches and strategies for market opportunity sizing, assumptions testing and validation. Collaborate with marketing teams for business lines to develop industry and market specific analysis to support business objectives at a regional and vertical level. Qualifications/Experience Required: 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Relevant third level qualification advantageous. Competencies Required: The successful candidate is likely to be: Innovative and creative with fresh contemporary thought is extremely important. Experience establishing metrics, gleaning community insights and reporting/recommending strategies that achieve market goal. Excellent relationship management skills. Strong team player with ability to work on own initiative. Strong critical thinker and highly effective with ambiguity.
