Payroll Specialist. Our Client a market leader has an opportunity for an experience payroll specialist to cover an 18-month contract with the opportunity of extension. Responsibilities: Review payroll calculations. Prepare maternity calculations. Ensure the payroll is paid accurately and on time. Processing payroll documentation in relation to the employee life cycle. Ensure Time & Attendance tool is maintained correctly for all company locations in Ireland. Processing payments of employee deductions. Processing of tax changes, student loans, P60's etc. Manage the monthly and annual tax and statutory filings alongside external suppliers. Assisting in audits. Ensure compliance with all Internal Controls. Preparation of payments & ensuring funding is in place. Assist corporate headquarters in processing/compliance of LTIP, CRC. Ensure maintenance of appropriate supporting documentation and checklists. Work with corporate & finance and HR teams on any ad hoc projects. Handle Benefit administrations, ensure BIK is recorded and charged correctly to employees who have company cars etc. Distribute detailed Gross to Net reports monthly. Prepare pension contribution, company share scheme files and upload/send monthly file to providers. Completion of forms on request - loan applications, salary certificates. Provide cover for the payroll manager when required. Carry out any other administrative duties relevant to the payroll department. Participate in the overall co-ordination and development of the services provided by the team. Requiremenmts: Minimum 2 years of proven experience in payroll administration in an international, production environment and experience with dealing with outsourced payroll providers an advantage. ROS knowledge. Hold a Payroll qualification with IPASS. Knowledge of Core.Time system a distinct advantage. SAP system is desirable but not a requirement. Experience with the NGA ResourceLink payroll system is desirable but not a requirement. Strong technical skills, quick to learn new systems. Good understanding of Irish legal aspects, tax and social law. Experience in a shared services environment is beneficial. Computer literate with MS Office Skills. Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills. Ambitious, motivated and willing to learn. Ability to meet tight deadlines and quickly adjust to changes. Team player with the ability to demonstrate flexibility where required. Handle confidential information appropriately. Analytical mind who comes with ideas to increase efficiency of existing processes. A customer orientation demonstrating an ability and willingness to satisfy both internal and external customer demands and requirement.
