Job Title: Bid Coordinator. Location: Ballincollig, Cork. Job Type: Permanent Full-time. Report to: Administration Manager. Reference No.: J5054. RPS has a career opportunity for a Bid Coordinator to join our Administration team in our Cork office. The ideal candidate will support the tendering unit and assist in preparation of high quality submission documents. The Ideal Candidate. Engineering, Business Degree, Science, Arts, or Marketing qualified (Level 8); Knowledge of tendering and procurement an advantage; Qualification in creative or persuasive writing an advantage; Knowledge of tendering and procurement. The Role. Coordinating and preparing tenders for projects, from small scale industries to government and public bodies; Developing materials (such as capability statement) to support bids; Training employees on bid coordination and writing; Working with colleagues in the tender unit to develop systems to improve access to and production of tender materials; Writing and editing content for projects / marketing / business development materials; and. General administrative duties. Key Requirements. Expert in Microsoft Word and Excel; Strong organisational skills; Excellent written and verbal communications skills; Knowledge of engineering, environmental and professional services business; Experience in preparing successful bids or proposals; The ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines; and.
