Delta V Automation Engineer Cork. The Delta V Automation Engineer onsite will be responsible for supporting and implementing changes in the DeltaV system. Support will be provided to ensure timely response and correction of DeltaV system faults. In addition, changes to the system are envisaged across the full suite of software i.e. control modules, equipment modules, Phases, Operations, Unit Procedures and Procedures. The DeltaV Engineer is responsible for activities that include the following: Partner with local site project teams to scope changes on the DeltaV system. Follow the SDLC Procedure to implement changes (covering RS updates, Change control, Implementation and test. Ensure implementation in a safe fashion with quality a necessary output. Use and update of development system if required. Educate local project teams on automation standards as they relate to technology selection, system configuration, SDLC, validation, hardware, software environments and business processes. Required: BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree. Training completed in DeltaV standard and batch. 3 or more years of experience in DeltaV application. Excellent understanding of cGMP's, SDLC methodologies and LEAN/MPS/ Sigma principles. Excellent facilitation, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and define business problems, develop business cases, and identify appropriate process and technological solutions is essential. Desired: Experience in DeltaV Recipe Development and/or Operational Support at a GMP manufacturing site.
