Plant Manager. Location–North Dublin. Salary– €80K+ DOE + bonus + benefits (Health & Pension. Job type–Full-time, permanent. Description of Role: Our client is seeking to hire a Plant Manager to grow and develop its Dublin Ireland facility. Our client is an engineering, manufacturing and repair company that provides services to the world's largest corporations occupying the renewable energy, medical and IT sectors. Our expertise is in engineering hi-tech electronic and electro-mechanical components. We offer solutions that span the entire product life cycle - from concept, through production and after-market support. The ideal candidate will be a true entrepreuneur and seeking a role that will offer the challenge to lead and grow a facility through effective staff management management of the production schedules. This will include assisting the Engineers and Technicians (team of 5) with diagnosis of electronic systems and dealing with clients to effectively manage their account and further developing the business. Responsibilities: The Engineering Manager will assure production schedules are met by the technical staff as well as perform the following: Diagnose and repair electronic boards and assemblies to the component level. Use oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and specialized test equipment to troubleshoot and isolate failures. Follow detailed written process checklists to validate and test functionality. Assist Technicians and other Engineers with diagnosis of electronic systems. To manage a team of Electronic Engineers and Component Technicians. Education and Experience (all required): Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution with an excellent grade point average (technical assessement as part of the hire process. Ability to work across multiple technologies. Excellent communication skills. A technical background and previous experience with Electronics repair.
