Our client an Irish formed specialist contractor with over 25 years in the Industry and operations in both Ireland and the UK, are seeking a Buyer to join their team and be based in their Mayo office. Bringing previous experience in a construction buying/procurement based role, the ideal candidate will work closely with the cost departments winning and closing deals, and have a sound understanding of the procurement process and procurement administration. Accuracy and attention to detail are key to this role. Maintaining a professional approach, the candidate will have excellent communication skills, and bring team player ability to both internal and external stakeholders, while managing contractual procurement relationships. Requirements: Ideally, relevant 3rd level qualification with at least 3+ years’ experience in a similar role. Previous administration experience within the Construction Industry would be advantageous but not essential. Excellent IT Skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Sage, some experience of construction related software packages would be advantageous. Proven ability to work alone or in a team environment, working efficiently and accurately to agreed budgets and timescales, with a high attention to detail. Salary commensurate with experience.
