Having invested considerable sums in state-of-the-art facilities and process equipment, this leading primary foods business has retained Brightwater Specialist Recruitment to source an experienced Quality Control Officer for a position based at their new manufacturing facility in North Cork. Reporting to the QA Manager, the QA Officer is responsible for generating certification for finished product manufactured at site, QC data transmission to key customers, coordination of relevant certification & documentation associated with incoming materials, in accordance with customer and QMS requirements. Responsibilities. - Generate COA’s ( Certificates of Analysis) as per defined requirements for finished product shipments. - Transmit QC data, electronically, to defined customers. - Download and collation of QC data from ERP – Oracle System. - Organise additional test requirements with QC, where required. - Generation of reports, as relevant from OBIEE system including data trending. Minimum Requirements. - Qualification Required: Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline(Food Science & Technology, Microbiology. - 2 - 5 years experience in a QA food manufacturing environment at FSSC 22000 standard as a minimum. - Strong interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with people. - Strong organisation and planning skills. - A positive, can-do, resilient and flexible attitude with the aptitude to take ownership of tasks and projects as required and see them through to completion with a high level of accuracy. - Performance driven with a proven track record of achievement, high integrity and capability to exercise sound judgement in decision-making.
