QC Training Contract Position. The Quality Systems Trainer is responsible for assisting in the development, execution, and management of the QC Microbiology, QC In-Process and QC Analytical training program in compliance with GxP, regulatory, and industry standards and guidelines. This position works closely with QC departmental management and staff to develop and maintain the QC Training Program. In addition, this position serves as support for process improvements and initiatives. The QC Trainer works with members of the Quality Control group to maintain GxP compliance with regards to training in the department. Their primary function is to ensure that all employees in the department are adequately credited for the training necessary to properly and consistently perform their functions, and to assist in identifying and implementing improvements to procedures that will lead to gained efficiencies and reduced costs. The Quality ControlLaboratory TrainingContractor must demonstrate excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills; the ability to prioritize multiple projects/workflow and manage time efficiently in order to meet established timelines; attention to detail, good problem solving and analytical skills; teamwork skills; ability to actively commit to, support and participate in continuous improvement; good presentation and group facilitation skills. RESPONSIBILITIES. Essential Functions: Implementation of specific training and development initiatives: OJT (On-the-Job Training) Project: develop and implement OJT’s in conjunction with QC SME’s and management in the Learning Management System (ComplianceWire) for On-the-Job Training items. Design and build curricula in conjunction with Quality Training Group for QC department training items in Compliancewire. Respond to requests to implement training, build training items within Compliance. Consult with SME’s, Leads and managers on training items and curriculum build. Assign re-qualification, and retraining with LMS in conjunction with Quality Training Group. Maintain and update training database. Maintain hard copy training records for audit readiness. File electronic and hard copy training records. Training effectiveness improvement projects as needed. Manage the qualification of trainers’ database. Additional responsibilities: •Perform organizational and administrative tasks in the Learning Management System. •Maintain the system for tracking and evaluating training compliance and analyze training trends. •Distribute training related communications. •Ensure completion of department annual GMP training and perform GMP training as necessary. •Review documents (SOPs) and TCRs, provide feedback on the contents, and assess the training needs and requirements for new and revised procedures. •Review and revise training related materials for current practices and applicable organizational changes. •Participate in lean improvement activities involving safety, compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. •Perform assessments of procedures and provide feedback for improvement. •Participate in internal and external audits and inspections. •Comply with cGMP Documentation & Operations. •Comply with safety guidelines. EXPERIENCE. Required Skills: •2+ years experience in a GMP regulated environment. •2+ years experience with a Learning Management System (LMS), preferably Compliance Wire. •Ability to comprehend technical information related to equipment, processes, and regulatory expectations. •Proficiency with standard office software applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point and Office 365. Experience and proficiency with other applications (such as Visio, Trackwise a plus. •Understanding and familiarity of European and US regulatory requirements, guidelines, and recommendations. • Good organizational skills, strategic thinker, EDUCATION. •BA or BS in a technical discipline preferred (biological sciences preferred but not required.
