Marketing & Communications Manager
Duties of the role. Develop a clear understanding of the EMEA Development Centre Ireland and position the development centre as an employer of choice for software developers through development and implementation of a strong marketing communications plan. Understand the competitive employment frame and collect market intelligence. Work in partnership with key members of the Team to ensure that communications strategy is aligned to organisational strategic plan. Provide communications planning and delivery to support internal programmes; corporate initiatives and wider cross-sector communications. Develop platforms i.e. website and social media presence. Develop content, manage and measure traditional, digital and social media communications channels to drive effective communications and engagement. Engage with external agencies, partners and industry events focussed on careers and recruitment. Build partnerships with academic institutions focussed on software development to ensure access to key graduates. Drive internal company communications for the Ireland leadership team. Planning and delivering internal events. Provide regular status updates to Head of department. Benchmark activity with appropriate metrics and evaluate success. Manage local communications budget as appropriate. Education & Experience required for this role. Candidate must have a 3rd level degree in Marketing Communication or Business. At least 5 years’ experience working in communications for a large corporate or public sector organization. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels in the business and externally. Experience of planning and delivering internal events.
