The Head of Operations will be responsible for the overall operational management of the business for the Visitor Experience organisation, he/she will form part of the senior management team and will participate in the operational & strategic management of the property. The position will head the Operations department including facilities and will provide line management for the Operational Management team. The objectives of the Company is to provide a world class visitor experience. This position will have a focus of service delivery and the achievement of quality standards and objectives. Proven track record in operational management with at least 5 years management experience. Qualified to degree level in hospitality, business or related discipline. Experience in the Tourism Services, Hospitality or Visitor Attraction Industry would be an advantage. Excellent project management, decision making, communication and influencing skills. A commitment to excellence, continual innovation & world class service delivery. Ability to be a clear thinker, analyse and resolve problems exercising good judgment. Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding/difficult visitors and/or situations. Experience with a TMS (Time Management System) & rostering packages. Flexibility and a strong problem solving approach to issues. Experience of managing people in a small to medium size enterprise. Proven organisational skills & experience in multi-tasking. PC literate with good keyboard skills and Microsoft Office proficient. Ability to enforce Company standards, policies and procedures with Employees. Excellent project management, decision making, communication and influencing skills.
