Job description: The role of the Quality & Compliance Officer is to support the business in driving and promoting a culture of compliance and championing an environment of excellence across the Group. This role is responsible for reviewing the effectiveness of the internal controls, governance and management systems within the company. The Ideal Candidate: • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience with regards to process audit and improvement. • Previous experience in a similar role. • A concise understanding of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001/14001/2700, OHSAS 18001. • Strong people and change management skills. • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to make quick and appropriate decisions. • Proficient at multitasking and prioritising. • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal. • Ability to interact within all levels of the organization. • Detail oriented and capable of interpreting data. • Proficient computer and data entry skills required. • Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities: • Assist in driving the Group compliance program within the relevant activities to deliver the agreed objectives. • Assist in evaluating the level of compliance with statutory regulations, legislation and the Group objectives, plans, policies and procedures. • Assist in the planning, organising and execution of Audits and Evaluations across all activities. • Maintain all the files and documents related to the quality procedures, quality audit etc in an orderly fashion. • Evaluation of procedures with regards to achieving compliance and efficiencies of process. • Aid in the development of training modules for various quality processes. • Deliver impartial and unbiased judgements of the activities audited. • Produce timely reports for outlining findings and recommendations including on-going corrective / preventive actions, and the effectiveness of those actions put into practice. • Evaluate implementation of recommendations and produce timely reports for Senior Management. • Operate to the highest standards of integrity and maintain confidentiality over information obtained while carrying out duties.
