Job title: Technical Support Associate – Science/Medical - German or French speaking. Reporting into: Technical Support Team Lead. Job location: Galway City. Permanent contracts. Successful candidates will be either fluent in French or German and they will have experience in a medical device environment or must have a qualification in Science. About the employer. The Technical Support Associate will be responsible for: Providing first level support to partners and distributors (resolving complaints and improving the customer’s experience). The successful applicant will continually identify opportunities for process and system improvements and they will continuously grow their own personal knowledge and skills and product knowledge. The skills and experience needed: The successful applicant will have experience in providing excellent customer support within a challenging technical environment (eg dealing with product queries/complaints. Fluency in English and either the German or French language (spoken and written. Ideally the successful applicant will have a scientific qualification or experience in/a genuine interest in working for a Medical Device Manufacturer. Able to communicate effectively with customers including a pleasant, polite and outgoing telephone manner. IT literacy; good general understanding of Outlook, Excel, Word, CRM and ERP packages.
