ICDS is delighted to continue our partership with a global cost and project managment consultancy who are looking to hire Grad / Junior Quantity Surveyors to support projects across a wide variety of sectors with a strong focus on healthcare and public. These sectors involve working on projects ranging in value and complexity. Placing great emphasis on the training, development and progression of their staff, the client is dedicated to providing high quality professional services with cutting-edge expertise.The successful candidate will join an established team of Cost Managers and be offered structured training and support to take their career to the next level. Interviews commercing Nov 19th as part of a brief 2 stage interview process. Responsibilities: Assist Senior Cost Managers with; Providing commercial and contract support through the construction stage of the project. Producing full bills of quantities/estimates to provide client detailed budgets. Ensuring initial cost plans are sufficient to carry out the works to be undertaken. Performing tender analysis to ensure value for money is achieved and that the works have been procured at the best market rates. Providing project controls support to align with the client’s needs and procedures. Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner. Performing interim valuations. Forecasting and monitor cash flow to ensure a positive cash flow is maintained. Assisting in the reparation and agreement of final accounts, to ensure the client gets best value from works undertaken. Producing cost analysis feedback / lessons learnt to the client for future works. What you need: Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent. Internship or commerical PQS experience is a bonus. Excellent communication skills. Strong team player. The ideal candidate will be results driven, self-motivated and resourceful with excellent client relationship skills.
