Our client wishes to recruit a Human Resources Manager for their Enniscorthy premises. The Role. We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to oversee all key elements of our HR strategy including: ·Development of talent and people plans. ·Company policies and procedures. ·Recruitment and retention practices. ·Staff training and development. ·Staff rewards both monetary and non-monetary. ·Staff engagement across all levels of the business. The successful candidate will be required to work very closely with our key partner ensuring People Plans are fully aligned. Key output areas and objectives. Develop a full HR plan for the company as it transforms from a traditional store focused retailer to a customer focused multi-channel retailer. 1. Policies and procedures. Drafts people policies and aligns them to the company. Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions. Ensures all Health and Safety policies and practices are up to date. Maintain physical and digital employee records in line with GDPR regulations. Ensures all employment laws are adhered to. 2. Recruitment and retention. Design and post job ads to attract qualified candidates for in-store junior and senior positions. Ensure staffing levels are maintained and forecast hiring needs, particularly at peak seasons. Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program. Calculate and report on employee turnover rates (monthly, quarterly and annually. Plan attractive compensation and benefits packages to increase retention. 3. Training and development. Prepares full training and development programme encompassing: Induction. Sales process and customer service training. Store manager training for top talent and larger stores. Specific Area Manager courses. Develop a performance management culture where employee coaching and training is embedded across the business. 4. Reward. Develop end to end reward programme encompassing boy monetary and other rewards. Ensure investment and retention of top talent. Ensure top performers are rewarded above and beyond. Put in place a performance improvement programme for those performing below expectation. 5. KPI’s. Track key recruiting metrics like cost-per-hire and source of hire. Manage payroll considering overtime, flexible schedules and seasonal employment. Train team leaders on performance evaluation techniques. Liaise with college career offices to inform graduates about internships and junior positions. Use social networks to showcase our company culture and build a strong employer brand. Essential Professional and Technical Expertise. ·Highly organised with very strong communication skills. ·Driven with a can-do attitude. ·Experience in developing and executing HR plans a must. ·Excellent analytical skills. ·Highly computer literate. ·Highly motivated to achieve results. ·Full clean driving licence. ·Primary business degree is preferable. ·Fully competent computer skills including Microsoft Office. ·Knowledge of payroll systems and HR databases.
