Field Technician-Water Sampling. Environmental Laboratory Services Ltd. (ELS Ltd) now part of the Eurofins Group, was established in 1998 and is a leading water testing laboratory in Ireland. ELS Ltd has recently acquired a number of new contracts to sample drinking water and wastewater in the west (Galway) and south (Cork. We are currently looking to recruit two Field Technician to perform this sampling and these roles will report to the Project Manager for the contract. Job Category: Science /Pharma/Food. Experience & Qualifications. A science qualification would be an advantage but is not essential for this role. Strong Interpersonal skills are essential for this role. You must be an organised individual with a good knowledge of computing. Aclean driver’s license is a must and a previous role involving route scheduling, driving and collections would be an advantage. Duties and Responsibilities. Take water samples at various households or water treatment plants. Plan and optimise your daily route to meet targets. Perform site tests such as pH,Temperature,chlorine. Records sampling results on handheld field devices. Update all field results to the master database each day. Observe and follow all procedural requirements for the role. Benefits.
