Future Shock Virtual Reality Arcade ( www.futureshock.ie ) are looking for a self-starter to take on the permanent part time position of Deputy Manager. A unique role offering exposure to multiple aspects of the business, this is a rare opportunity for the right candidate to learn and grow while being provided with the right mix of autonomy and support. Offering a minimum of 23 hours a week with potential for 30+, this role may also transition into a full-time position over time. This role is for weekday, evening time shifts but with the possibility of early afternoon hours as needed. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be fully and independently managing the location during the busy evening period. The main duty will be setting up and guiding our guests through their VR experience while maintaining the excellent customer service levels we have become known for. Ad hoc office duties along with simple social media management, digital marketing and content creation will also form part of the positions duties. There is also potential down the line for the right candidate to become involved in the sales side of the business via our corporate clientele. All training will be provided along with a soft transition into the role. Requirements: Positive, outgoing and friendly personality is a must, excellent customer service is what our business thrives on. Strong and confident communication is also incredibly important for this position. Must be a self-starter with a solid work ethic. Basic Microsoft office skills along with basic computing skills. Interest in computers, technology and video games are all bonuses but not requirements. Minimum of two years previous work experience, ideally with exposure to customer service. Further details and renumeration will all be discussed at the interview stage. All training will be provided.
