Peter Mark are currently recruiting for a temporary Salon Coordinator to join our fantastic teams inthe Cork area for a Maternity cover contract. The Role: You will be responsible for the operation of the front of house, supervision of the salon team while coordinating the clients visit to the salon. You must be a confident communicator and demonstrate excellent interaction skills to ensure that our clients receive a high standard of service. All applicants must be fully flexible as our salons open late nights and weekends. You may be required on occasion to cover other salons in a designated area. Experience in hairdressing is not required for this role! You will be passionate about delivering excellence in all aspects of your role. Committed to ensuring a superior client experience. Be client and service focused. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. A genuine interest in the hair, beauty and fashion business. Cash management. Involvement in achieving and motivating the team on reaching and exceeding salon targets. Genuine interest in business goals. Demonstrate strong sales skills. Stock takes. Conduct and participate in staff briefings. Should be commercially minded. Willing to travel if needed to other Peter Mark salons. Ideal Candidate: This role requires a dynamic person who has the ability to multitask and is computer literate. Thrives on working under pressure. Is good at motivating and inspiring staff. Must be team oriented, enthusiastic and flexible. Will need to have some understanding of diary management and online booking systems. Has a good understanding of business and is driven to exceed targets. Requirements: At least one to two years’ experience in a customer service and cash handling environment with strong supervisory skills are necessary.
