Deputy Secretary (Grade 3) - Engaged Communities Group. SALARY: £89,482 - £102,103                         Ref: IRC233532    LOCATION: Causeway Exchange, 1-7 Bedford Street, Belfast, BT2 7EG. DEPARTMENT: Department for Communities (DfC. The successful candidate will  report to the Permanent Secretary and will be a key member of the DfC Departmental Board with corporate leadership responsibilities including inputting to strategic direction, building stakeholder relationships and the management of risks. He/ She will set the strategic direction for this diverse and mutli-disciplinary business area to contribute to the delivery of Departmental objectives. In a climate of continuing financial restraint and high expectations from the public and stakeholders, the Department is seeking an experienced, dynamic and committed person with a strategic focus, excellent leadership skills and the ability to deliver results in a challenging economic environment. The successful applicant will also play a wider role as part of the Northern Ireland Senior Civil Service at a time when collective leadership is focused on delivering internal and external transformation. This post may be filled by secondment of the successful candidate from his/her current employer.
