If you have a legal background or a background in compliance and data protection this may be a great opportunity for you. As a data protection officer you will advise the business on its obligations under GDPR and also monitor compliance with the GDPR. You will have extensive knowledge of data protection regulations, acting as an advocate for data protection both internally and externally. Responsibilities: Assessing and developing Data protection processes, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Managing the Data security breaching process. Logging and analysing reports. Monitor performance, policies and procedures , risk assessment and training. Address potential issues. Support team members with queries relating to data protection. Support both commercial and legal departments. Ensuring data processing agreements are in place with external parties. Requirements: 2+ years’ experience in either a data protection, legal or compliance role. Excellent understanding of data protection regulations. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent time management and interpersonal skills. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
