Experienced Hotel Accountant required for a busy 4* hotel in Sligo. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the regional financial controller, assisting the General Manager and all HOD's in all matters regarding financials and providing them with business acumen. The Role: Preparation of managements accounts, including P L, balance sheet and cash flow statement. Ensure all stock sheets are up to date, taking into account any price changes. Ensure monthly stock checks are carried out and discrepancies are to be investigated. Preparation of all weekly and monthly accounts and balance reconciliation statements including the recording of accruals, debtors, creditors, wages, etc. Ensure all "other" revenues are accounted for and recorder correctly. Preparation of weekly financial report including profit forecasts, to be reviewed by the regional financial controller. Payroll. All reports to be prepared and signed off on, on time, meeting deadlines. Hotel experience desirable, but not essential. Benefits: Car parking. Meals provided on duty. Staff discounts.
