Our client, a sports stadium based in Dublin City Centre are currently seeking a strong Accounts Assistant to join their team. Reporting to: The Finance Director. Overall Focus: To support the Finance Director in the maintenance of the financial and related records of the Aviva Stadium; To maintain the company ledgers (creditors/debtors/bank. Key Responsibilities: Non-Event Related: Finance. Responsibility for maintaining the creditor's ledger and ensuring timely supplier payments are made in accordance with company authority limits; Ensure no payments made / invoices received in duplicate with suppliers. Purchase order maintenance (including matching purchase orders. Responsibility for reconciling the company bank accounts. Responsibility for credit control. Car park reporting. Stadium tours reporting. Opening and delivery of post. Franking and issue of the post to the post office. Making bank lodgements. Maintaining and running the creditors ledger. Assist in preparation of board packs. Other finance duties as requested by the Finance Director from time to time. Event-Related: Administration. Event day related administrative duties as requested by the Event Controller from time to time. Key Relationships: Internal. Management and employees. Shareholders finance teams. External. Banks. Catering Partner. Company suppliers. Company debtors. Event day professional service providers. Decision Making: Purchase order maintenance (incl. communication with staff. Implement decisions as directed by the Finance Director. Education/Qualifications: This role requires the following qualifications: Post Leaving Certificate business qualification. Membership of the Institute Of Accounts Technicians In Ireland (IATI) (desirable. Experience: The following is desirable: Experience of working in a similar role within a company (turnover at least €10m. Competencies: The following competencies are desirable: Good communication skills. Attention to detail. Ability to work within a team and autonomously. Ability to work to tight deadlines.
