Material Handler - North Dublin. This is a fixed-term contract of 23 months' duration. The purpose of this position is to ensure that materials are received, processed, inventoried, picked and distributed to manufacturing in an orderly process as well as packed up for shipment after manufacturing. This position is responsible for receiving and shipping goods so flexibility is needed with regard to working schedules. Major Contributing Activities: In this position you will be responsible for the following: • Processing material through Goods Inwards procedures. • Picking and distributing material in a systematic, effective and efficient manner. • Storing goods to stock. • Cycle counting of materials. • Monitoring stock levels. • Packing machines/spare parts for shipment. • Accurate and timely completion of relevant documentation. • Observing housekeeping and safety regulations/policies. Interested applicants must have: • Miniumum Leaving Certificate or equivalent. • Minimum 2-3 years material handler experience. • Forklift experience and valid licence. • Knowledge of warehouse control systems and practices. • Excellent clerical and organisational skills. • Computer experience with entering data (ideally on SAP. • A high level of initiative; ability to work alone and be self-motivated. • Accuracy and maths ability are necessary. • Flexibility with regards to working schedule.
